WELCOME TO THE INFANT NURSERY
We are excited to provide care for your little one! We realize that one of the most important things an infant learns in the first year is that the world is a safe and wonderful place to be. At Bright Beginnings Learning Center we provide lots of individual attention, cuddling, and rocking.
Our teachers bring a lot of love and experience to this room. They plan fun and nurturing activities for their infants. You are welcome to make yourself at home and visit with them too.
The infant rooms at Bright Beginnings Learning Center provide a safe, stimulating, and secure environment for the developing infant. Individualized care, which is intended to complement parents’ styles and wishes, is one way of attempting to accommodate each infant’s needs and personality. Each child has their own crib, which we label with their names. We have children’s photos all over the room to provide a sense of comfort and joy to them. Music is a part of every day.
The rooms are designed to encourage your baby’s curiosity and learning. There are plenty of colorful mobiles and pictures to look at, age appropriate toys to play with, equipment designed to support their physical development and activities to encourage the development of your infant’s basic skills. Teacher design lesson plans with individual activities according to the age. Whether they are being read to, gazing at themselves in the mirror, or going out for fresh air, each day babies have a variety of nurturing and fun experiences with their caregivers.
Health and safety of your child is our prime concern. Infant room is no shoe zone. Children over 18 months are not allowed in the room. All toys get sanitized at the day’s end and the mouthed toys get sanitized after each use.
We encourage parent involvement. Parents fill out a daily infant sheet when they drop off. The form contains information regarding the last feeding, the last diaper change, and any special instructions. We continue to fill out the form though out the day so you will know when your baby napped, when and how much they ate, diaper changes and any other important information.
We have an open door policy; stop by any time to participate in your child’s daily activities. We promote a partnership between parents and caregivers. There is a mutual respect and understanding so the two parties may work together to provide the best possible program for your infant.
You feedback is always welcome. Please let us know who we can customize our program for you infant’s needs.
